Christmas Tablescape

Christmas is a wonderful time of year! I love that you can turn your home into a magical wonderland with a little sparkle and lots of enthusiasm. This year I wanted to keep my foyer table’s Christmas Tablescape simple and festive. Since I am a thrifty gal, I used a mixture of old and new decorations when creating the Christmas tablescape.

How to make a simple Christmas tablescape

First, I placed a 5x7x4 box on top of the buffet style table. Then, I draped the table and the box with a large piece of white felt.   Just off center to the table, I placed the dangling leg penguin on top of the box and nestled the votive right beside him with a the foil tree to his rear.  On the right of the table I added our beloved Santa Claus figure. We received him from a family member back in 2003, he has been around so long he feels like part of the Christmas family. 😉 In front of him, I placed a Santa Claus tin filled with candy canes. The left of the table is decorated with a glitter and foil trees, a sledding snowman and my easy diy christmas flower arrangement.  I also added flame-less tea light candles wrapped in garland for the final touch.

It is so much fun creating a tablescape, especially during the Christmas season! You can use any color scheme or style holiday decor you want when creating your own Christmas tablescape. Don’t forget to stop by your local dollar tree for inexpensive items to add to your exsisting decorations.  You can also visit ileavehappy.com for additional holiday decoration and entertaining tips.
