3650 Riveredge Dr- Renovated Home Before & After

January 22, 2013 By Joy Williams 8 Comments

The time has come, we  have arrived at the edge of canyon and decided to take the leap!  We plunged deeper into self employment and decided to boost up our investment company, Trevty Investments, Inc.  Trevty Investments is our company in which we purchase distressed properties, renovate them and then ultimately sell them. Although this leap seems challenging, it is not work that is foreign to us. Troy has renovated distressed homes for the past 10 years.  I am a licensed Realtor and have worked in real estate and small business bookkeeping for the last 6 years. Our skills combined make a dynamite team that will propel our family into the future that we have envisioned for ourselves. Since incorporating in 2010, we have successfully renovated and resold 4 properties. Yet, it was not our full-time focus.

Riveredge is our first property since we took the leap of faith and submerged ourselves into Trevty! We purchased this home from the county foreclosure auction in October of 2012.  Troy has been diligently renovating the home since we purchased it.  It is officially renovated and on the market to purchase! We are very excited at the outcome and are patiently waiting for the perfect buyer!

The vinyl siding was newer and in good shape.  We cleaned up the yard, trimmed back the excess plants and power washed the home, sidewalks and driveway.

The kitchen was completely renovated to include custom cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and travertine  back splash.

The downstairs bathroom received new flooring, vanity, counter top, faucet, lighting, and fixtures.Diningroom.beforeafter

The dining room’s renovation included hardwood flooring, new french doors, new trim, a light fixture and a fresh coat of paint.livingroom.beforeafter

In the living room the wood flooring replaced tile. Granite  replaced the tile in the window ledge .  The cedar lap walls came down and  drywall took its place.Upstairs.beforeafter

When Troy began demolishing the shower in this bathroom it became clear that it had leaked for a long time. Thankfully we had decided to renovate the master bathroom when we acquired this property!  The wall between the rooms became a half wall, as well as, the ceiling was lifted higher.  The shower was updated with new tile, wall nitch and fixtures. The flooring was also updated along with the vanity, counter tops, lighting and fixtures.

The balcony received good pressure wash and trimming back of brush to reveal its beauty! Take a look at the sunset from the porch!

Riveredge is located on a private drive in a secluded neighborhood with mature landscaping. The home was masterfully renovated and is has an open floor plan with tons of living space.  In addition to that was mentioned above, the entire home also received new doors, trim, paint, knock down textured ceilings, lighting package, and hardware. Boasting a newer roof, newer plumbing and brand new HVAC system this home is a buyers dream.

We are anxious and excited as we aboard this new adventure and are confident that the Lord will continue to light our path. Your prayers for our family are welcomed and appreciated. We look forward to posting more homes as we complete them!

We as in my husband did all of the renovations! My husband is a master contractor! He does an amazing job! I did all the “office” work, finding the home, crunching all the numbers and listing the home!

WOW, that house doesn’t look anything like the original. I really like the kitchen and the view is to die for. Congrats and it looks like the hard work paid off for sure.

You are brave. I watch those house flippers and cringe at seeing their budgets skyrocket. It is very helpful I am sure that your husband can do a lot of the work of the renovation – keeps the cost down. I really hope it works out very well for you. The renovations you’ve shown look very nice.

BTW, I found you on MomDot forums (Trisha just added me this week !!!). Look for my ‘get to know me’ post on the forum :).
