The celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ makes Easter a very important holiday in our home. It doesn’t get the decorative attention that Christmas does, but I do believe it warrants some decor. S0 last week, while on spring break, the children and I took some time to do some crafting. We created an Easter Tablescape and DIY Spring Centerpieces.
Each holiday I love to decorate my foyer table with simple and festive items to create a fun tablescape. Since I am a thrifty gal, I used a mixture of old and new decorations, from the Dollar Tree to create my Easter fun.
First, I placed an Easter egg themed table runner on top of the buffet style table. Then, I strategically placed my yellow flower arrangement, plush spring animals, He is Risen Blocks, DIY Spring Centerpiece, and Easter Egg Topiary on the table. I added an egg-shaped bowl filled with candy shaped Easter eggs to for the last touch.
It is so much fun creating a holiday tablescape! You can use any color scheme or style holiday decor you want when creating your own. Don’t forget to stop by your local dollar tree for inexpensive items to add to your existing decorations. You can also visit ileavehappy.com for additional holiday decoration and entertaining tips.
