November was a fun month! The church/school hosted a Girls Night Out: Holiday Shopping Affair. We shopped at with all our favorite companies, Pampered Chef, Silpada, Intial Outfitters and more. Our admission fee to the event was a new packs of socks for Socks for Souls, a not for profit benefitting the local homeless.
(Pictured left to right: Heather, Jodi, me, & Jeannine) We shopped and had mimosas. What more could a girl ask for on a night out with her friends?
Sarah and the boys often come over after church for lunch and to hang out. Since football season is in full swing, we often watch the Jaguar games. Tyler and Zachary looked too cute not to take a picture. 🙂
One of our dearest friends, The Sutherlands, moved Japan. Their father has been stationed there with the US Navy. It was bittersweet to say goodbye, but we are very happy that their family gets to reunite.
Thanksgiving!! Of course IT occurred in November. We ate turkey and filled our bellies at my inlaws. We have always celebrated the holiday there, as it is our family tradition. Every year the kids get bigger. I enjoy watching them play in the yard and talking about everyone’s Christmas list. Colson and Trever love hanging out at Mimi’s.
So do Dallyn & Braydon!
We always decorate the house the weekend of Thanksgiving. However, this year Trever was very anxious to begin Christmas. So we were completely decorated on Thanksgiving night!
Over the holiday weekend, I cleaned out the boys room. Trever elected to sell all his Legos on Craigslist. The child used to be obsessed with them, but now skateboarding and basketball takes up most of his free time. This was another bittersweet moment for me in November. He is growing up-no more Legos.
December is moving along swiftly and full of fun too. I’ll be back to share those pictures next month!
Merry Christmas to All!!
