Pretty In Pink Baby Shower

January 6, 2015 By Joy Williams Leave a Comment

Pretty In Pink Baby Shower

Last month,I helped host a baby shower for one of my bestest friends, Heather.  She is a super fun and very sweet gal. Baby Maggie will be the first born child to Heather & her hubby Jason. She will be making her worldly debut at the end of this month.

Pretty In Pink

As soon as Heather announced the gender of her impending child, I knew immediately the theme I wanted to use for her shower..PRETTY IN PINK! It sounds sort of general, right?  Well with the help of my co-host, Ashley, we were able to put together an elegant pink shower for Heather and Baby Maggie.

Becuase the  shower was held at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon, we planned a light mene. We provided tea sandwiches from Ashes’ Boutique, a charming tea shop here in Jacksonville, and cupcakes from Sweets By Holly. As well as, veggies, hummus and pita chips.

The guests were able to enjoy a refreshing glass of Raspberry Mint Spa Water or Raspberry Lemonade.

Details adorned the entire shower, even down to the utensil holders.

Pink Candy Table2

Ashley and I set up a candy table, as a thank you to the shower attendees.  In keeping with the theme of the shower, all of the candy on the table was pink.  The guests could choose from pink chocolate covered popcorn, mints, gumballs, sixlets, whoopers, chocolate covered pretzel sticks, cotton candy jelly beans and strawberry candy sticks. (Listed from left to right) Pink Candy TableThe candy table was a delicious sending gift for everyone that came to the shower.

We had so much fun creating and executing a pretty in pink baby shower for the mom-to-be! I can’t wait for Baby Maggie to arrive and shower her with kisses!
